Backstory: Aliya is half dragon and half human. Her mother was human and her father was dragon. At a very young age of four her parents were assassinating when she was visiting her friends in the local village by an evil band of radicals called “Thorn Claws.” From this day and on, small Aliya has vowed to avenge her parents deaths. She has no past as far as she is concerned. She cannot remember anything about her life. The very few memories she does have stay on her mind constantly.

The last memory she can recall is waking up and finding herself upon a bank of a small brook outside a forest. A massive dragon appeared over her, the golden dragon to be more specific. It peered down at her but she was afraid not, she felt a sense of comfort around this eccentric being. It was then she stared into the eyes of the golden dragon, thus becoming lost in the golden fire that burn within its eyes.

Legend has it that anyone who can stare into the eyes of the golden dragon and not incinerate from its mighty flame, will forever be bonded with the beast. Thus becoming known as the Spirit Bond. It was that on this day, little Aliya became one with the golden dragon and later on, became known as the “Topaz Dragon.”
