Contributing to Project Bob (becoming a mortal builder)

Mortal builders are regular player characters who have limited editing powers.
What they can do and where they can go is restricted based on how they are
contributing content. They have no immortal authority, but should be treated
with similar respect. These players are giving up free time to add to the game
by helping us grow with new content. We appreciate it. :)

Mortal builders should never give you any favors or benefits of any kind. It
is preferrable that these builders never even come into contact with players.

If you are interested in being a mortal builder, you should speak to Ariana.
We are interested in players who will write story episodes, plan out quests,
update old areas with new mobs and goals, or build entirely new zones.

To be a mortal builder, you should have some experience with OLC. If you don't,
you will be able to experiment with OLC on the test port. We don't currently
have any OLC tutoring set up, but questions are fine and we are very helpful.
Generally, a mortal builder begins by building a mini-area. These are very small
areas with a short completion time and are a nice way to become accustomed to
our building commands and learn about our editors.

Recently our helps and knowledge base for building has greatly improved due to
a huge effort by Ariana and recently Khelek as well. While we still can't ensure
any level of tutoring, the means to get information is much more reliable and we
have more people around who may have answers and be willing to field questions.
